All the Little Things

My little brother got into outer space and stuff so my step-mom bought him a place mat with all the planets on it. When I first saw it, I was upset, because it was newer and so Pluto wasn’t labeled. I was about to say something when I noticed something…

Pluto is there.

The artist remembered Pluto.

Guys…

The artist drew Pluto crying.

The world through my eyes? Try macro filter.

At least, that’s what I realized last, last Saturday when I went to the park. XD I felt kind of proud of myself for realizing it. XD So if anybody who has perfect vision wants to know what the world looks like to a near-sighted person, try looking at it with a macro filter with a camera. :D That was a good Saturday. :D I got to go to a lot of places (because I had to so I could get materials for the chain).

Yes, I’m finished with it! :D And just in time too. XD Now I don’t have to worry about it and all I have to do is test to see if it works on my friend’s suit, and make any last minute changes if I have to. :D I feel kind of bad that my friend’s not the first person to see it completed so I’ll make the picture small so it’s hard to see the details. >: )

On another note, I noticed my hand was hurting while I was working on this. It was like something was being twisted the wrong way, and was being tightened. It kind of worried me.

So I spent the weekend in Laurentian for the Starting Point (kind of like an open house, with free meals and everything). The university’s not bad. :D I’m worried about how to pay for the tuition though. And apparently, I’m taking one of the harder courses D: I had to take 2 maths, 2 chem, 2 physics, and 2 bio, plus electives and labs. D: DX OTL I have to study! (/>A<)/

But never mind that, I have to do my HW! D8

Snow buntings fight over seeds in Mirabel, Canada. Photographer Mircea Costina says: These little polar birds migrate in winter to the south of Canada and approach the farm areas, where they can find food. At first it looked as if it was some form of courtship between birds but they were fighting for their share. The piece of ice was on the ground; in fact it was some snow melted from the previous day - it seemed to add to the frosty relationship between the hungry birds.  Picture: Mircea Costina / Rex Features

We live in a strange, beautiful, and often alien-looking world. Case in point: the crystal-clear Jewel Caterpillar of Central and South America, pictured here in all its translucent glory.
This particular caterpillar (which is known more formally as Acraga Coa, and metamorphoses into this equally stunning orange moth) was spotted by photographer Gerardo Aispuru near Cancun, Mexico
